Jim and Marcia both retired from Lucent Technologies in 2001.
We were 2 of the ~80,000 employees who were part of Lucent's "downsizing program".
We both worked at the Lisle/Naperville Illinois Campus.
Jim retired with ~32 years of service; Marcia with ~14 years of service.

 It was the best thing to happen to us!!!

Before leaving Illinois, Marcia attended the Library Technology Program at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL.
Now, Marcia works full time again--as a Reference Librarian--having earned her Masters of Arts and Sciences in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Go Bulls!
